Wow so real
If you have a VR headset, or perhaps you’re planning on getting one, this show is just for you. Here are all the VR titles that were showcased:
- Paper Beast is an exploration adventure game where the wildlife was sprung from the internet. You’ll be able to unravel the universe’s mystery now on PSVR or sometime this year on PC with an Oculus, Vive, or Valve Index.
- Play Bunker sets out to make social distancing easier as it’ll put you and a friend in a room to play board games. This is set to release this summer to Oculus.
- Stride is story parkour action game that will let you experience parkouring without actually having to train as well as battle enemies on rooftops. This is set to release this year for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record is a VR dramatic shooter that will let players relive episodes that appeared in the original Panzer Dragoon series. This has the release window of March 2021 and is planning to be compatible to PC VR, console VR, and standalone VR headsets. Crowdfunding for this game will start sometime this year.
- Virtual Battlegrounds is going to be a VR Battle Royale game built specifically for VR. This is actually out now in Early Access for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Swords of Gargantua is a VR roguelite action game that you can play with up to three friends that sets out to feature realistic swordplay. This is out now for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality, but will soon be on PSVR.
- Naau: The Lost Eye is a narrative VR action puzzle game with physics based mechanics. This will arrive this year in Early Access for Oculus, Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Sun Shard is a physics based monster slaying game that will launch on PC VR and Oculus this year.
- Republique VR is a tropical stealth action game that tasks you with exploring the perils of government surveillance. This is out now for Oculus, Vive, and Valve Index.
- Solaris: Offworld Combat is a VR shooter that’s going to be amultiplayer-only experience featuring up to 4v4 fast paced battles. This will be arriving on the Oculus this August.
- Panther VR is a stealth action sandbox where you’ll be planning out heists from generated missions. This is out now in Early Access for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Onward is a mil-sim multiplayer shooter that promises the most realistic combat experience in gaming yet. This is out now in Early Access for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife is a Vr horror game where you’ll unravel the mysteries that await beyond the Shroud. This is set to release on all major platforms.
- Phantom: Covert Ops is a stealth action game where you play an elite covert operative trying to prevent an all-out war. This is out now for Oculus.
- Star Shaman is a VR roguelite where you can cast spells in enchanting futuristic galaxies and regenerate planets that were destroyed. This is set to release in late summer for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is in the Walking Dead universe (of course) where you fight the undead, scavenge the ruins of New Orleans, and face gut-wrenching choices. In July, this will get a major update for PSVR and PC VR.
- The Rig sets out to be an immersive story-driven space noir where you explore a fully interactive freighter. This is set to release on June 26 for the Vive and Oculus.
- Spaceteam VR is a chaotic cooperative party game where everyone has to work together to complete increasingly complex instructions. Free updates will be coming soon and this can be played on Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Traffic Jams is a game where you ahve to keep traffic flowing even during outrageous events and road rage. This is set to release in September for PSVR, Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Operencia The Stolen Sun, a dungeon crawler where you guide a team of characters through a world inspired by Central European mythology, will soon get VR support for PC and PSVR.
- Area Man Lives is a radio drama that unfolds around you while you try to keep the radio broadcast humming. This is set to release on August 13 for Valve Index, Vive, and Oculus.
- Lonn is an action adventure story set in a dystopian city where you play as Lonn when he’s forced into action. There is no set release date or planned PC VR platforms this will arrive on yet.
- Where Angel Meets is a cinematic experience that allows you to follow the life of Marcus from the perspective of being a guardian angel. This will release exclusively on Oculus.
- Agence sets out to be an immersive experience that uses AI to creat an interactive and dynamic story about little characters on a floating planet. This is set to release for desktop, mobile, and major VR platforms.
- Gravity Lab lets you build you own machine with gravity bending appliances in various testing scenarios. You can play this now for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality with Oculus Quest compatibility coming soon.
- Trial by Teng is a surreal adventure set in an offbeat version of the afterlife where you’ll have solve puzzles. This is coming soon for Oculus, Vive, and Valve Index.
- Cosmophobia is a survival horror roguelike about escaping a spaceship filled with nightmares stranded on a hostile universe. This is coming soon for Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Ghost Patrol is a VR arcade experience where you’ll be able to fight off spirits by matching their color with your weapon’s beams. This game will only be playable at VR Arcades.
- In Death: Unchained is bringing procedurally generated levels of hell, heaven, and purgatory. This will release on July 23 on the Oculus Store.
- Low-Fi puts you in the shoes of a cityblock sherriff transfered to a crime ridden section. You’ll be able to explore this non-linear open world late this year on Oculus, Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
- Gnomes and Goblins will let you explore am interactive fantasy world where you’ll be able to meet and develop personal relationships with an enigmatic resident. This will be coming soon to PC VR.
- I Am A Man is a collection of scenes from the days surrounding King’s murder, letting you get a taste of how life was in the build-up to and the horror of the tragic event. You can play this now on the Oculus.
- Vertigo Remastered is a story-driven shooter that is going to be a complete overhaul and reimagining of the 2016 original. You can play this in July on Oculus, Vive, and Valve Index.
- Trover Saves the Universe is now available on the Oculus Quest.
- Pistol Whip, the action rhythm FPS game, is heading to PSVR on July 28th as well as some new content in AUgust on all available platforms.
- The Walking Dead Onslaught is the official AMC’s The Walking Dead game where you’ll be able to experience an exclusive story on October 8 for PSVR, Oculus, and Valve Index.
- Blaston is going to feature PvP shooter action that challenges players to stay in constant motion while blasting their enemies with precision. This will be coming out this fall.
- Vacation Simulator is going to get a free DLC this fall called Back to Job where you’ll be an “on-demand” worker for the robots on vacation.
