A life worth suffering through
Odyssey to the West is an enjoyable story-driven title reminiscent of the adventure games of days past, and inspired by the legendary Journey to the West.
Phoning Home is an interesting Indie open-world adventure that has an equal amount of strong suits and glaring issues. Ultimately it results enjoyable, but could be much better if some problems were addressed.
Although it has a unique and fun battle system, the game underdelivers with its story. Characters aren’t developed well, and the plot is perplexing.
An array of interesting characters, some fiendish but entertaining puzzles and a bright and amusing story means Mutropolis should be up the top of your list for fans of the genre.
For a game with so little content, it still manages to sneak in a bug and inconsistent writing. It’s sloppier than the first game.
This remastered version of the original 2010 title brings new life to Empire Bay thanks to updated visuals, and also includes all DLC. However, some new technical problems surfaced as consequence.
