Out of a trilogy of HOGs, the middle child presents an average experience that should please fans of the genre, but wouldn’t draw interest from those who dislike these kind of games.
Being able to play a roguelike with friends is a nice inclusion. However, with only a few dungeons to clear and classes that don’t feel as distinct as they could, there’s room for improvement.
If you’re looking for a new Souls-like to dive into, Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition may be the getting-your-ass-kicked simulator that you’re looking for.

A generic RPG game with interesting battle system and unique storytelling. Are you craving for quests?
A combination of walking simulator and puzzle genre that somehow doesn’t blend well. It still have interesting puzzle mechanics, although people with limitations might have trouble solving them.
