Catmaze is one of those games that seems that it isn’t getting the attention that it deserves, even though it’s a bit rough around the edges.

It’s very hard to not think about the first two Fallout games when you first see ATOM. Truth be told, the developers have stated multiple times that this game is heavily inspired by classic RPGs such as, Wasteland, Deus Ex, Baldur’s Gate, and
Morphite describes itself as a “casual atmospheric FPS, inspired by the classics”. While I agree with that assertion for the most part, I can also safely say that this is a perfect case of a missed opportunity to make something really compelling.
