Future Games Show is another new digital showcase that shows games that they believe will shape how we play. Here are the games that were featured:

  • Quantum Error is an upcoming cosmic horror FPS that’s currently in development for the PS4 and PS5.
  • Dustborn is all about leading a band of misfits on a road trip across a post-infodemic America inspired by graphic novels. This one will be arriving on PC and consoles next year.
  • Ghostrunner will put you in the shoes of a blade fighter slashing your way to the top of a tower to end the rule of the tyrannical Keymaster. This is planned to arrive on PC and consoles this year.
  • Call of the Sea is an adventure puzzle set in the 1930s that will follow Norah on her quest to find her missing husband’s expedition in the South Pacific. This will be arriving on Xbox and PC.
  • Sherlock Holmes: Chapter 1 will follow a 21 year old Sherlock to investigate the mysterious death of his mother in this open world detective game. This will have numerous detective features and mechanics such as involving random people on the street in your investigation or question them. This will come to PC and consoles next year.
  • Cygni: All Guns Blazing is a bullet hell shoot ‘em up with a cinematic flair that is planning to arrive on PC and maybe consoles once it’s ready.
  • Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is a horrorpunk action RPG filled with Lovecraftian horros and Cronenbergian gore that will set you out to defeat the Seven Acolytes. This is arriving on PC sometime this year.
  • Hotshot Racing is an arcade style racing game that fuses drift handling with retro visuals. This will be arriving on PC and consoles this summer.
  • Cris Tales is an indie love letter to past rpgs that let you experience past, present, and future simultaneously. This will be coming to PC and consoles November 17.
  • Liberated is an action adventure game inside a hand drawn comic bookwhere you’ll be uncovering a cyberpunk reality where human rights are dying. This will be coming to PC and the Nintendo Switch this July.
  • Neon Abyss, the frantic roguelite action platformer featuring unlimited item synergies and a unique dungeon evolution system, now has a release date of July 14 for PC and consoles.
  • Skater XL is getting a new level called Easy Day Academy High School that focuses on recreating the Californian school enviornment on July 28.
  • GTTOD Get To The Orange Door is a neon synthwave virtualscape FPA is arriving on XBox One this year, but you can buy the game on Steam now as it’s currently in Early Access.
  • Waking is an action adventure set within a coma where you’ll be exploring your memories and fighting for your life. This is available now on Steam and XBox One.
  • Space Crew is a sequel to Bomber Crew and will set you on a quest to defend Earth and humankind from an extraterrastrial threat. This will be launching in September for PC and consoles.
  • Maid of Sker is a survival horror set in a remote hotel with a gory and macabre history inspired by the Welsh tale of Elisabeth Williams. You’ll be able to check in on July for PC and consoles.
  • Smite surprisingly got a short shoutout here. I’m sure everyone already knows what Smite is, but Smite got two pieces of news days after the show. The Great Dreamer update is available now and in the next month Aang, Zuko, and Korra are coming as skins.
  • Fall Guys is going to be a massively multiplayer party game that can go up to 60 players. This will be arriving on Steam and PS4 this year and you can sign up for beta access now.
  • Carrion is a reverse horror game where you play as an amorphous creature. You’ll be able to stalk and consume those that imprisoned you sometime this year on Steam.
  • Unbound: Worlds Apart is a hand crafted metroidvania where each magic portal conjured will give you unique abilities to solve puzzles. This will be available later this year on Steam.
  • ANNO: Mutationem is going to be a cyberpunk action game wuth an eye-catching aesthetic set to release on the PS4.
  • Doggone is a game about a lost dog.
  • The Almost Gone lets you experience intricate dioramas, connections of your life, and the ripples you make in this narrative puzzle game that’s available now.
  • Inkulinati is a turn based strategy with medieval animals inspired by 700 years old medieval marginalia that’s set to release next year for PC and now Nintendo Switch.
  • Alaloth – Champions of the Four Kingdoms is promising to bring ARPG dynamics to a new level with its skill based gameplay inspired by classics and modern masterpieces. You’ll be able to check it out sometime this year.
  • Wave Break is skateboarding, but you’ll be on a boat not a board. It looks like you can play it on Stadia now, but it’ll be coming to PC and consoles soon.
  • Cloudpunk is a neon noir story where you can work for a delivery service that you can play now.
  • Windjammers 2 is a flying disc game featuring hand drawn graphics, crazy moves, new characters, and new stages.
  • Hammerting will let you manage a Dwarven mining colony as a war rages sometime this year on Steam.
  • Stage Hands got a little teaser and while there isn’t that much out about it, it looks like you’ll be playing as a fox working as a stage hand.
  • Archeage Unchained is said to be the ultimate MMO experience with a PvP focus that you can play now.
  • Remnant From the Ashes is getting a new DLC called Subject 2923 on August 20 for PS3, XBox One, and PC.
  • The Captain is Dead, based on the board game of the same name, puts you in the captain’s chair as you try to save your remaining crew from aliens. You’ll be able to play it sometime this year on Steam.
  • Main Assembly will let you built robots and control them to overcome challenges now on Steam in Early Access.
  • Blankos Bloc Party will let you play as vinyl toys inhabiting a world that you can design and build games and hang out with friends. You can sign up for their beta today.
  • Last Oasis is a Nomadic survival MMO where resources deplete fast and you’ll have to keep moving as the world dies around you. You can play this now on Steam in anticipation of an upcoming update that will provide a new volcanic landscape.
  • Wasteland 3 will give you command of a squard of Desert Rangers trying to rebuild society from ashes. You’ll be able to play this on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on August 28.
  • Remothered: Broken Porcelain, a follow up to Remothered: Tortured Fathers, sets out to introduce new gameplay, storytelling elements, and an unprecedented level of immersion in this haunting adventure. This is going to release August 25 for PC.
  • Werewolf The Apocalypse is an upcoming action RPG where you’ll be playing as an eco-terrorist werewolf fighting against the Pentex corporation. You’ll be able to play this later this year for PC, PS4, and XBox One.
  • Rogue Company will put you in the shoes of a mercenary and will feature objective-based modes and various maps. This will be available sometime this year for consoles and is an EGS Exclusive.
  • Outriders is a co-op shooter set in a dark and desperate sci-fi universe where you’ll leave the slums behind to traverse the hostile planet. You’ll be able to do this when it releases this holiday for PC.
  • Disintegration is a sci-fi FPS with RTS elements where you’ll be commanding your troops as you pilot a Gravcycle. This is available now on Steam, PS4, and XBox One.
  • Paradise Lost puts you in the shoes on a 12 year old that finds a Nazi bunker while roaming a post-nuclear Polish wasteland. This is set to release sometime this year for PC, PS5 and XBox Series X.
  • Operation: Tango is an asymmetrical spy thriller where you pair up with a friend to bring a high-tech global menace down next year on PC.
  • Kena Bridge of Spirits is setting out to blend action and narrative into an unforgettable experience as you restore the enviornment and battle ancient enemies to unravel the mysteries of a forgotten village. This will be on the PlayStation and is an EGS Exclusive.
  • Serial Cleaners is a stealth action crime story where you alternate between playing four mob cleaners during the 90s. You’ll be able to play this next year on Steam.
